Karin brings warmth, empathy, and authenticity to her work as a psychotherapist, creating a safe, non-judgemental and supportive space where clients feel heard, understood, and accepted.
With over 6 years of mental health work experience and a background in community mental health and individual counselling, she has supported individuals navigating emotional challenges, difficult life experiences, and periods of transition. She believes that meaningful change begins with a genuine therapeutic connection and approaches each client with curiosity, compassion, and respect for their unique experiences. As a bilingual therapist, Karin is passionate about providing culturally responsive and inclusive care to individuals from diverse backgrounds.
Karin holds a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology. Her therapeutic approach is trauma-informed, client-centred, culturally integrative and strengths-based, integrating principles of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Humanistic therapy. She works collaboratively with clients to explore their experiences, build on their strengths, and develop meaningful paths toward healing and personal growth.
Outside of her work, Karin enjoys crocheting, painting, baking, swimming and going on long scenic walks. She values opportunities for connection, learning, and personal growth, which also inform the compassion and curiosity she brings to her therapeutic practice.
