Shawn is a Registered Acupuncturist and Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner under the CCHPBC. Practicing since 2015, he specializes in treating soft tissue injuries through a therapeutic blend of deep tissue massage, cupping, and acupuncture.
His treatments are tailored to each individual, aiming to promote healing and improve overall outcomes.
Before transitioning to Chinese Medicine, Shawn worked for seven years as a software engineer—ultimately following in the footsteps of his grandfather’s career in Traditional Chinese Medicine. His clinical focus lies in musculoskeletal issues, supported by a strong foundation in anatomy, and he also has experience treating internal medicine conditions, gynecological concerns, and neurological symptoms.
Outside the clinic, Shawn is a dedicated father of three. While his time is often devoted to family, he has a long-standing love for baseball and enjoys the strategic and engaging nature of the game. He also finds an unexpected sense of relaxation and mental stimulation in shopping, which offers him a refreshing escape from daily routines.
